About the Initiative
The Gau Raksha Initiative focuses on protecting, feeding, and providing medical care to cows in need. Through the support of volunteers and donors, we aim to create a safe and nurturing environment for abandoned, injured, and elderly cows.
Our mission is simple -” no cow should go hungry or suffer without care.”
What We Do
Rescue & Medical Care
We rescue injured, abandoned, and sick cows and provide immediate medical attention, surgery, and rehabilitation with a dedicated veterinary team.
Sustainable Gaushalas
Our sanctuaries provide lifelong shelter with nutritious food, clean water, and open pastures — built with eco-friendly and sustainable practices.
Community Awareness
We educate rural and urban communities about cow welfare, sustainable dairy practices, and the cultural significance of Gau Seva.

Gaushala (Cow Shelter)
We run shelters housing 5,000+ cows with proper food, water, and medical facilities. Each cow receives individual care and attention.
Rescue Operations
24/7 rescue helpline and mobile ambulance units to save cows from accidents, abandonment, and illegal transportation.
Veterinary Care
Full-time veterinary hospital with qualified doctors providing surgeries, vaccinations, and ongoing health monitoring.
Awareness & Advocacy
Educational campaigns, school programs, and policy advocacy for stronger cow protection legislation across India.
